Optimal Brain Center Practitioners Bios
Lynne Mielke, M.D.
Dr. Lynne Mielke is the founder of the Optimal Brain Center, along with the clinics, Optimal Health Spectrums and Developmental Spectrums. Dr. Mielke graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine, and did her Psychiatry residency at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute, where she became board certified in the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
In addition, she has done extensive training in anti-aging medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), as well as being a MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs) provider. Dr. Mielke has also completed the TMS training Fellowship at the prestigious Duke University.
Dr. Mielke’s interest in Integrative Medicine started years ago when her youngest son was diagnosed with Autism and she realized that standard medical approaches had nothing useful to offer other than drugging him.
She then started attending and getting trained in Integrative Medicine, and it is now her professional mission in life to help other patients with this superior medical approach. Her newest venture is the Optimal Brain Center, and she is very excited to bring the most advanced integrative technologies for neurologic recovery to you!
Sandi Kreizenbeck is our Nurse Practitioner, and we are thrilled to have her with us. She has trained extensively at Optimal Health Spectrums and Developmental Spectrums under Dr. Lynne Mielke, and is very knowledgeable about our treatment protocols. She consults with Dr. Mielke on an ongoing basis about her patients, to maintain a consistent quality of care.
Like many in our community, Sandi came to Integrative medicine after finding no help for herself or her children from a variety of traditional practitioners. Her entire family has been treated at our clinic, so she knows what it is like to be the patient and the provider. Sandi brings personal experience and empathy to her interactions with her patients.
Sandi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, and a Master of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Holy Names University. She previously served as an officer in the US Air Force for five years, where she got extensive experience in pediatrics and adult emergency medicine. She is also a MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatrics Special Needs) provider. She attended training on TMS at Harvard University and also goes to multiple other medical continuing education conferences every year. Sandi has dedicated her life’s work to helping all ages achieve optimal health and wellness.
